The facilities and equipment at the clinic and expertise of the staff mean we are able to offer a referral service for issues such as poor performance, weight loss, orthopaedic, internal medical and cardiological investigations. Rachel Atherton holds a diploma in Equine Internal Medicine and Kate Gibson holds a certificate in Equine Internal Medicine and a certificate in Equine orthopaedics and Equine Surgery.

We also work closely with the consultant Opthalmologist, Mr Rob Lowe BVSc DVOphthal MRCVS which mean that surgical procedures affecting the eye such as laser eye surgery and enucleation (removal of the eye), are routinely undertaken at the practice. Our inpatient facilities and hospital nursing team enable us to provide post-operative care where necessary.

Monthly dental clinics are also held at the clinic with Equine Dental Technician, Mr Simon Viewig IAED/C & IAED A/C BVDA. Whilst most routine equine dentistry can be undertaken at the client's premises, our on-site dental clinics enable more complex dentistry including dental fracture repair and tooth removals to be undertaken in a suitable environment with both a dental technician and vet working together.
